Project overview
I was asked to design a concept for a digital banking app that would be visually appealing and simple to use. The client recognised the significance of an intuitive, efficient and user-friendly app to meet the banking needs of the target users.
Research and analysis
At the start of the project, I conducted extensive research into the mobile banking industry, analysing trends, best practices, and user preferences. This helped me understand the needs of the target users and shaped my design decisions.
Turning ideas into prototypes
With research and analysis complete, I began designing the user interface and experience for the key functions of the app, including sending, receiving and requesting money, adding new cards, card settings and card-to-card transfers. I focused on creating a frictionless user experience that prioritised usability and convenience.
Testing and iteration
After completing the low-fidelity prototypes, I conducted tests to gather feedback on the user interface and overall experience of the app. The feedback was then incorporated, resulting in a refined and improved concept for the app.
Outcome
The final design concept for the digital banking app was both visually engaging and easy to use, with a focus on keeping things clean. High-fidelity prototypes provided the client with a clear and comprehensive blueprint for a mobile banking application.
